Qualifications and Fellowship

MEMBERSHIP OF THE ASSOCIATION

Nominal annual fee: $300. Allows skin cancer doctors and GP with interest in area to belong to the group and contribute to discussions and participate in CME and Peer Review etc. Nurse membership has an annual fee of $50. SCCANZ is a fully accredited CME provider.

FELLOWSHIP OF THE COLLEGE

Requirements:
1. At least 3 years in skin cancer practice (subject to approval by censor) and 

2. Log book of 1500 case audit and

3. Passing of the exam: The exam process involves
a. Practice visit and assessment of facilities
b. Observation of practical skills while operating
c. Oral examination

Comment: The examination process has been designed to be robust and be a recognized qualification that suggests excellence in the field of skin cancer medicine. The examinations are held annually and on application.
